Both loud exhaust and system on truck?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but does it sound right if you have a loud exhaust and system going at the same time on a truck? Debating on getting a good sounding exhaust but thought it might sound rediculous with a system?

What? YOu need to have a good system to get over the noise.

Unless you are worried about overkill or something, just get the exhaust.

I am startled by the overkill? So would (2) 10" L7's ported still be easily heard over a loud exhaust?

Alright, I'm looking for something when I get on the gas it sounds a deep and throaty, but isn't so loud, that it messes with my music.

I can't really help you there, it deeds on the kind of truck you have...

But sound deadening does wonders.

My crown Vic had straight pipes and it echoed inside sometimes but once I put some blankets down in the trunk and cut the resonation it was not noticeable anymore.

get some flowmaster. and if u have a truck it is a must u have an exhaust on it. i can hear my system over my exhaust

my truck is way loud down the road, exhaust and road noise from 35" muds. everything is deadened but the roof, which needs to be done, and i cant hear anything over my system.

Im running Flowmaster Super 40's on my Silverado. It has a nice deep tone to it. And as you can see by my sig...my system can get loud, especially for a single cab without a blowthrough.

i've got magnaflows on the chevy 1500 and my stystem is easily heard over the exahsut, i don't drive fast anyway though

just my engine is loud enough i cant imagine it with a loud exaust
