Boston vs Infinity

Im looking into upgrading my subs and im not sure wich one to choose....

right now im looking at the boston acoustic G5 and the infinity kappa perfect 12Vq. They are going to be in a sealed configuration. Two of them

what would u recommend? i was thinking to wait on the IDv3 12 but who knows when its gonna come out and it might not be a better sub anyhow

yea i know but for some reason the infinity is well known and never heard anybody say anything bad about that particular sub. i was just wondering if the boston really is better ???

i have owned infinity subs and they were great I have owned the kappa perfect 10.1 and 12.1

JBL is better than infinity. I never figured out why everyone was so fool over them. They are both made by the same company. But JBL's get much louder for the money.

Um ya OK

While I never got the desired output from my 12" perfect, it's SQ was flawless. I could have gotten the necessary output by going to 2 drivers, but I like to stay in single setups for room. The perfect is a **** fine SUB for those interested in spot on SQ on the cheap. Mine wasn't a VQ and I can only see that being even better and more diverse.

Of course Boston is a fine company and makes good products. I just think your statement of Infinity not being a true sub is just plain ignorant.

boston, the G5 is a very nice sub, and use the GTR radiator with it to save some space and get the extra output
