What kind of power can you feed these to get great sound..Here are the specs..I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experiance with these and if there rms is underated(can they handle more)...?I'll be using a Kenwood KAC-8402 4x60 or bridged at 180 x 2..

Key features Boston Acoustics 80

1" Kortec® dome tweeter

frequency response 45-20,000 Hz

power range: 2-60 watts RMS (200 watts peak power)

2-way plate speakers for 5"x7" and 6"x8" openings (pair)

copolymer woofer with rubber surround

Model: Boston Acoustics SL80 2-way plate speakers For 5"x7" and 6"x8" openings

Review Boston Acoustics SL80 2-way plate speakers For 5"x7" and 6"x8" openings / Boston Acoustics 80:

2-way plate speakers for 5"x7" and 6"x8" openings (pair) * copolymer woofer with rubber surround * 1" Kortec® dome tweeter * power range: 2-60 watts RMS (200 watts peak power) * frequency response 45-20,000 Hz *

I have the 6.5"s (65w RMS), and they are getting about 175w to each side, they sound awesome. Boston's are power hungry, give them at least double their RMS rating. I wish I had gone with a bigger amp so I could upgrade to Z6's...
