I have been posting threads about subs and have narrowed it down to these 3 if you can suggest something please keep it to stuff that is a little mainstream and does well sealed. Nothing against stuff like SI and an assasian but nobody i know has them and i need to hear them to see if i like them and i dont have the money to do trial and error. i would do the boston, g5 of course, as far as sound qualilty goes, the boston will eat up that type r,

my friend has one in a toyota landcruiser, g512 with the passive radiator,(yes it does make all the difference.

the bass is so precise, and sound so good, they are definetly a buy,

but if you want sheer sq and loudness, then the type x sub by alpine.

I'd get the G5. I was told they sound in between an IDQ and IDMAX.

You really can't go wrong with the G5 Excelent sub.
