well, i purchased a set of boston components (fs 50 5.25's) these are the cheapest ones they make, and let me tell you, they have inpressed the hell out of me....very smooth and accurate tweeter, lots of definition....the woofers are also very smooth with plenty of definition....i am running them with 75 watts continuous power from my planet 300/4....and they reside in my glass kick panels....tuned properly at 150hz and up they play with my alpine midbass very very nicely.....my midbass are set at 150hz to 70hz...(my alpine midbass will be changed tomoroow to koda's)
Another feature that impressed the hell out of me is the tweeter attenuation, you have 3 choices, 0, -2, -4....0 was a little harsh, but -2 fits very well....
for the money, (210cdn) i am very very impressed and would reccomend these to any sq fiend.....
I replaced my alpines with these and i can't tell you how awesome they sound, so go and get a set for yourself....
