Good all around speakers, "safely geared." They're made by people who are enthusiastic about the hobby, and BA does continuously improve upon their designs. They're just a bit pricey.

Just because I know you'll come across specific models in your search, the SL line is a previous gen line that no longer exists in their current lineup. Go to their website and familiarize yourself with their product lineup. Ebay will of course most likely be the cheapest route of getting into a set other then maybe someone selling something on here in the For Sale section. As well, some of their component options do allow for a braxial setup, so you can mimic a coaxial setup for ease still, just tossing that out there.

Oh and by "safely gear" I mean they gear their sets pretty neutral and natural in tonality and presentation. In contrast for example, Pioneer and Alpine gear their product warm and Infinity bright. Boston Acoustic is pretty middle of the road but pretty good sounding and doesn't really do anything terribly wrong. Short of the price, BA products are pretty safe bets.
