has anyone actually heard the spg555? a guy at a local audio shop told me that 1 of these hit 145+ db's. very skeptical personally. looks nice though. i like the removable voice coil.

i "hurd" one sealed at my local steario shop and well. its a huge room, with noting to load off of, so i basicly just saw it moving up and down and shaking the cealing tiles a bit. it does look impresive, and its concept is great for samll cars and such, with is small foot print

Will let you know as soon as I get it installed. I have one and am powering it with the Boston GT-28 (1100W RMS). Plans as of now are for a sealed box. I am putting it into a 06 Civic Si, so I don't want crazy loud bass. Just something clean and tight. Keep you posted

any update on the spg555? i am also looking into one of these speakers. i am also debating the sealed eclosure of 1 cube or the "sq" ported verison of 2.1 cubes @33hz.

looking foward to a review... this thing looks like its a monster
