Boston Acoustics Pro 60 - Looking for speakers with a little more bass...

Hmmm, lots of good reviews on the net that I found...
Just can't seem to find anyone that carries them, or any internet sites that sell them...?

theres someone selling them in the classifieds new ata good price.

I know what you mean. I have always thought Boston's were a little light on the bass for my taste. You might want to see what price you can get a set of Focal K2's for. They have great mid bass and sound incredible.

I'm thrilled with my Pro60s. Deaden the crap out of your doors and give them plenty of clean power. For a 6.5" mid, they don't leave me expecting more.

I know the Focal K2's have really good kick bass and great sound and I believe they are similarly priced although it's been a while since I look at the prices.

I feel the same way.

You guys are doing something wrong (or just not doing enough right).

I run my mids from 71 hz to 3200 hz with 300 watts each of very clean power and they sound great, even at insane volume levels. I even ran them lower than that for a while when I didn't have any working subs, and they did amazingly well.

I have deadened the crap out of my doors, and obviously ditched the passive crossovers. Maybe try that?

Lots of people are getting great midbass from the Pro 60s, so don't blame the speakers.

The lower K2s are priced about the same, but for the K2P range, you'll have to look at the Boston SPZs. Focal America now has MSRP listed for all their products on their website.

if you can find Bostons Pro60 really cheap & go active then it might be worth it, but look into other companies like Hertz, Rainbow, Morel which i thick there speakers are more well balanced for what your'e looking for.

just make sure you get a warranty,
