Boston Accustics GTA-504...Can't find reviews on it. Any opinions?

I was looking at purchasing a small 4-channel amp to power 6.5s and a small sub. I saw the GTA-504 listed at $125 on Crutchfield (all of their Boston amps seem to be half price, which makes them about the same cost there as what everyone else normally charges).

Anyway, I can't find any reviews. Does anyone have any feedback on the GTA series of amps?

That is what I am thinking. I can't find the "too-good-to-be-true" in it, so I might pull the trigger. My brother gave me a $30 GC to crutchfield, and there is not much that makes sense to buy from there, so this stood out.

Thanks for the input.

I was planning on an under-seat install with it. Should I consider a different amp for an underseat mount?

I found other under-seat installs in vehicles like mine (2011 WRX) with similarly-sized amps, but I can't say for sure if there is any airflow/airspace to help with cooling.

Amp would probably see some 2-ohm use, so I need to keep that in mind.

I wouldn't be worried about it, as long as it has a solid ground it'll be fine. That's a steal for that amplifier.

he has no clue dude...

as long as you have a couple inches all the way around they will be great amps in that location.

you can also use small 1/2" spacers under the feet to lift the amp off the carpet and give it better cooling as well...

gl you will like how clean the GT series is.
I hope to run some rainbow comps on this. First with the amp bridged into 2-channel mode until I get the substage sorted, and then in 3-channel mode to the comps and a small (8-10") sub.

I actually have an older RF amp that I was going to use, but the deal on the BA amp seemed too good to pass up.
