Forum,

Would any of you have the displacement of this sub? I have searched the internet and have not run into any luck with this particular spec. I have even tried emailing Boston but no response.

Odd that you didn't get a reply from Boston. I usually get a pretty quick response from them. You could PM Blue. He may be able to give you the specs.

I received the following letter from Mr. Eric Pomerleau from Boston Acoustics-because I have two of them too. Thiele-Small Parameters for Boston Pro 10.4LF:

Max.Input Power 500watts.

Continious Input Power 250watts.

Sensitivity (1 watt-0.5meter)98db!!!.

Re 4 ohms.

Fs 33 Hz.

Vas 2.34 cubic feet.

Qts 0.36.

Qes 0.42.

Qms 2.53.

Sd 56 square inches.

Voice coil diameter 2 inches.

Le 0.65 mH.

Xmax (one way) 7.5 mm.

Sealed Enclosure: 1.4 cubic foot.

Ported enclosure 1 cubic foot-port 3"Dia. x 6.5"Lenth.

(all specs. include basket and port displacement so there is no need to build the box larger to compensate).

As you see acc. to their letter the SPL is 98db 1watt/0.5m. Best Regards Bojidar

Ultimate: Thanks for that info, I actually had found that already but it's missing the driver displacement. I know what the factory suggest but since i'm having a custom enclosure built I need to know that particular piece of information so that it will be done correctly.
