Underworld 2 was a Fantastic movie.....Currently my favorite newer movie out there back to....I dont even know...that movie is awesome!!!

Troy Duffy – the man who made a splash in Hollywood with The Boondock Saints in 1999, only to see the film, and his career, crash when it flopped, is back.  

The subject of the documentary Overnight, which chronicled his extraordinary deal with Miramax and the massive problems with the film, is planning a sequel. Thanks to the film’s cult DVD status – it grabbed $30 million on the first disc alone, before the director’s cut edition ever arrived – Fox has agreed to finance a follow-up, for which Duffy already has a script and a cast together.

 

Just one small problem: the film’s original financier, Elie “bankrupt” Samaha’s Franchise Pictures has yet to pay out residuals. And his lawyers are fighting the sequel in court.

 

Still, Duffy is unbowed, with a screenplay called The Good King, a drunken English monarch ready to flog around Hollywood. "I'm content to build my career brick by brick, but it is frustrating to wake up every morning and think how my movie is putting some guy's kids through college, while everybody who worked on it got nothing," Duffy told Variety.
