@Jeffdachef Old news man....I knew that. I started a thread about benching/testing of those amps on CACO long ago. Turns out, some people got close to rated and others below. Electrical, and twin runs of power/ground might make a difference....even running 1/2 ohm might do the trick but also read that the amp gets pretty hot running that low of an ohm.

@los33...just got done changing the belt, was in bad shape, but not too bad. Had some cracks/splits in it. See what happens tomorrow. The new belt took nearly all my strength putting it on, compared to the old one. Had to pull back belt tensioner as far back as I could.

My wife picked it up....I'll blame her. Will it make a difference tho? I took them both onto my garage floor and they match up pretty close....I think the old one is stretched out a little

If it doesnt sound like its binding when the tahoe is running then it should be fine.
The tighter the better since they do stretch over time. If its way to tight it will just break, but that is why you check for binding.

Pretty much if you hear it squeezing too much causing moving parts to sound weird or unordinary.
You will know if it is too tight since it can cause smoke from the bearings.

The good news: No binding, no broken belt and no more squealing.

Once again people got into my **** to try and steal my tahoe like my last sierra..
Unfortunately the alarm wouldnt let them turn it on without the key.

My 25$ walmart headunit is gone and my 50$ pawn shop 4 channel is gone [emoji23][emoji23].

They left the speakers in the doors that are worth 300$ as set by them selfs.

Also stole my 50$ jack ? and cheapy tire compressor.

My daughters stoller too [emoji21]
