and interior, i think that makes me more annoyed than the paint..

Most of the other vehicles i owned i have always use rubber dash placements to protect from uv ray causing them to crack or fade.

they make entire replacement dashes for silverados like that? that aren't a grand lol i think my best bet is just to find a junkyard dash thats in good condition

Lol ! I about to get one alll the bass has broke my dash all to hell and I would try to find one but they are all 20 + Year’s old and brittle and will break fast as you put it in so I figured just cover it up lol out of site out of mind !

I haven’t seen that ? I have seen the front dash bezel for 300 but I don’t think the complete dash has been available for a long time and it was well over a 1000 dollars when it was available unless someone has some old new stock somewhere ? But I would take one for 300 if you know where they are ?

Pretty sure I need a new alt...mine squeals when 1st starting up and when it's cold so loud I'm surprised the neighbors haven't complained yet lol. Noticed my voltage is low when running, then finally jumps back up and squeal stops.

Sounds like it , take the belt off and see if shaft is loose or rough to turn ? Could be the belt tensioner wheel also and much cheaper to fix

Snowing right now...will have to wait a bit to test out the alt, simply by rotating it by hand and if it makes noise, it's bad...................need a new alt anyway. Ever since I owned the Tahoe, never changed it. And that's been about 10 yrs!

Well you can feel if bearing are rough or really loose both bad signs. But check tentioner too . But if you need an alt opt for the 145 amp unit where yours is 105 now.

Couldn't agree more. My s10 has a 105 amp.....my Tahoe needs a bigger one and I want a bigger one.
