Boomintahoe

Normally id straight up fix the sending unit, but this year of truck is plauged with inaccurate gas reading and bad clusters.
Ive tested the fuel pressure and modules and all are good.

Hmm that is really odd for them to read good and this issue remain. Time for a custom digital cluster?!?!?!?!

I had a 95 2 door (Man I miss that beast). It was indestructible. The only issue I ever had with that thing (owned for about 7 years) was the shotty side post battery terminals they put on them.

Sh*t went south real fast. Alex stop engaging that moron and work on your whip..
Right now I'm in Springfield helping my mom pack up. She's moving to Florida and I'm getting a house in Iowa. Gotta pack all my **** up, and I'm not really doing any work on my truck this week. Maybe installing a new alarm if I get to it.

do people not understand nearly everything we use, uses oil? that fancy electric car is worse for the environment than its natural gas competitor right now. thats a fact.
That's what I'm saying!

Ill have to fix that headlight, i just got done fixing the wiring the alarm it had that the owner said could not be fixed to work lol. Free alarm!
What are running boards? You mean the step sides?

Also you got any idea how to somewhat fix the gas gauge, it goes a quarter back then when i accelerate it shows how much gas i really have.

My other 96 chevy silverado has the same issue.

Ya whatever they're called!! The black plastic cheap looking things under the side of your 'hoe.

The gas gauge is notorious for those Chevy's. Mine is doing the same exact thing. I watched a youtube vid on how to fix that problem and requires removing the instrument cluster and removing/taking apart the gas gauge apart from it. It's pretty tedious work....something within the mechanism that either goes bad or needs a little oil, don't recall much.

Oh hell no.. i redid my 2000 sierra cluster doing a modded backlight and it was a ***** to do.
I can imagine having to slowly remove it again to oil the gage motors.

Ima look into a possible digital cluster

Ya...might be easier to do a trip to the junkyard and get another instrument cluster. But that's taking a risk also, as you wouldn't know if that one would do the same thing. But...so much easier than taking/picking it apart.

Android/ipad with torque pro or similar.

Reads straight from the computer instead lf dealing with the clusters.

What ever works for ya!
Any interior pics?
Ill post some tomorrow, but its the worst part of the buy.

Front driver seat is torn a bit, carpet is somewhat dirty, headliner was left hanging from a tv install, wiring was routed horrible from last install.

Ill have some work to do, even the door panels are half way loose due to them forcing them off.

Those will be removed, fixed, repainted black.

I plan to murder it out inside and out. 5% all around on windows.
