i got 2 of my textbooks each retail around $130 form a couple of my friends...bought 2 books of the net which comes to be like $110......so ya its a good sem for me.........the rest of the books r the same textbook from last sem....

I swear, textbooks are a complete scam. A book that normally would cost $50 is marked up to $120, written by the same person who is teaching the class, and then when you try to resell the book, you are lucky if you get $20 back for it.

That being said, I am only spending $130 or so. I'm buying my books from amazon.com and half.com. I rather support people like myself who were forced to buy the book and are trying to make more than a few dollars back than buy from the new $150 million student bookstore with the high prices and long lines.

it's simple supply and demand. you need the books and they got what you need. i learned that all by myself.

My school reams you so bad when selling them back too. I loath the bookstore. F*cking money hungry bastards. As if we don't pay enough in tuition already.

I got 5 books, two used, the total came to $369, but what the hell do I care, my scholarship pays for that.
