I don't think so, bondoglass is strong. PL premium would work good for gap filling as well.

Heres some pix of the box so far. I test fitted the sub and theres a bit of play, i think i may have cut the hole slightly larger than it should be. Im not sure if it will work or if its gonna let air out.
