hate to tell you that ranger wont do 84mph unless it has a way over the rated max hp because rangers weigh alot and top end is about 65-70 75 tops if u r one person low gas no waves and a bigger motor than recommend
dont believe the speedo in the boats meausre it with gps or a radar i know wat mine does i got pulled over in a 25mph doing 78mph and it will full throttle with me and a friend of mine and 2 girls and i didnt have it trimmed out so by myself with low gas and calm day i can do 82-85mph its scary i dont like doing it i usually run at half throttle unless i am getting in out of a storm or needing to get somewhere in a hurry at full throttle u have to wear glasses or you cant see at night i wear clear glasses

your a dumbass... i've had many rangers that did that speed. my friend and I went out on friday and me and him broke 80mph on his. now you say your boats rated for 90hp and you have all that power. your a idiot. I have a lake and bay 19' with a 300 yamaha hpdi. Which it's rated for. and I do low 90's all day. and its fun not scary because its rated for the power and I know what im doing. And the reason you can't go wot because your boats not rated for it. you fail at boating

a Larson was what my uncle recommended. he just bout a late 90s and said he loves it but its a fish/ski boat i think

Lake and Bay FTW. I have a 20' with a 250 HPDI.

Whats wrong with bayliner? My grandpa has a 1985 22' with an open bow and its not a bad little boat.
