The Clarion DRX9575Rz / DPH910 DSP combo with optical cable. This is a powerful duo that will give you some of the best SQ you will ever have the pleasure of hearing. The HU has no amplifier so external amplification is a given. It will play burned CD's but does not support WMA/MP3/iPOD. It has a motorized, removable face, with a color display representative of 1999. It will control anything that is connected using the CeNet cable. This includes changers, DVD players, and TV tuners offered by Clarion.
Optimal SQ is achieved when the optical cable is used to transfer the data to the outboard D/A converter. This yields a very high resolution 108dB S/N ratio with a staggering 100dB of channel separation. Dynamic range is 100dB. Dual mono amplifier setups come to mind. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif You will hear depth and width like never before, provided you have a coherent fronstage. I know because I'm using the other set I have and it beats my Pioneer 800PRS in terms of pure SQ.
The DSP unit provides EQ, time alignment, crossovers, and more, with 3 sets of pre-outs. The interface takes a bit of getting used to but the effectiveness is there. It's very capable. I've provided links to the manuals for both items. Please read them if you're interested in these.

I don't need to sell these but I could use the money for something else I want so if I can't get what I'm asking, I'm fine with keeping them. Please do not ask me to separate them, I won't. The HU went for about $600 and the DSP went for about $300. The optical cable was over $50. These units are BRAND NEW with all included accessories down to the screws and cable ties. Also included is the remote and a carrying case for the faceplate. I have about 4 hours total time testing and listening to this combo indoors. Everything is pristine.
