not trying to post dump. but what is so special about these particular ports?

I get these for $42 shipped from Partsexpress.com. It's cheaper to buy just the flares and pick up a 6" PVC tube from Home Depot and use that.

Do you have to sand down the ends of the PVC to get them to fit? Home Depot in my area didn't carry 6" PVC, and all Lowe's had was Schedule 40, which doesn't fit on the flared ends.

I didn't have to sand anything, they fit right into the the rings and attached to the flares.

are these precision ports? because mine has mounting holes, which just may not be pictured here?

These do not have mounting hole. Yes they are precision ports. The 4" have the mounting holes and not the 6".

if u look at the back of the flare there are dots with a number beside it just drill out the dot on the same numbers and those are ur mounting holes the number equals how many holes
