This concern came up in another forum so I will address it here before any more offers are made or accepted.

This is a 2007 RE XXX sub.

The is the one of the XXX subs that Scott Atwell (currently Fi Audio) designed before USAmps bought out RE Audio. This is not the XXX that you currently see on the RE Audio website. This is the Scott Atwell designed XXX that you would have seen on the RE site before USAmps bought them out.

This is frustrating...

I just got off the phone with Greg at RE/US and told him the situation.

He is looking in to it.

On the face, it seems as though the problem occurred last year when I bought the thing.

I described the sub to him, and the box it came it (pictured above).

He told me that the old style of XXX subs did not come in that box. That box was only introduced with the new line of XXX subs.

But the sub INSIDE my box is on old version.

He assured me that he is going to look in to it on Monday and make it right.

Not sure how it is going to work out, but it looks like I paid for a 2007 sub and got the old style...

I am sorry for any confusion this thread has started.
