blown???

i have two 10 in JL subs. awhile back one of them just stopped working, when i pushed on the sub with my hand, instead of moving in and out it was just stuck there. ive never blown a sub before so i figured thats what happened. i took the sub out of the box, and about a week later i pushed on it and it moved in n out just fine. it was working great for quite awhile, buti just noticed it froze on me again today. does anyone know what this is?

I think it is a problem with your voice coils they will work off and on but but they are no good now, plus jl has a problem with that.

If it doesn't move, it's blown. The voice coil separated. I don't know why it stopped moving and then worked again later. Very odd.

yeah, it was froze up, and somehow when i had it sitting out something happened cause it worked good, until now
