Okay so I just installed a alpine530 touchscreen headunit in my 335xi with logic 7. I currentoy have a kicker 12 inch sub and Rockford amp. I was pursuaded I to buying the headunit by a sales rep at a car audio shop. He said the unit would be 1000x better. I got it installed. The day I picked it up the sub stopped working after 3 songs. Whenever I turned The volume to higher levels it makes a horrible sqealing noise. The stock bass doesn't sound as good either. Took it to the shop next day to learn I blew the sub after 3 songs and the tech said I couldn't play as loud of a vplume anymore because the headunit pushed to much power to the speakers causing the crackling noise?? I need help I'm pissed just blew all my moneyand my car sounds worse. Seems to me like they did a butched job.
