Blown sub? What to do...

Ok, so i have two alpine type e 12". The other day both just quit working, there was a bit of a fuss, but no loud crackling or pops. I noticed that when I would push down on one, it would work... The other one had a lead pop off, so no biggie. So, can anyone tell me what happened and/or what I should do. It would be ideal to fix it.

Well, I have a bridged crunch p1100.2. But the gain is at a little less than half.

if the sub works when you push down on it the connection to the coil inside is probably messed up. reconing kittttttttttttttttttt...... or warranty.
