Blown stock sub in ford escape.....Options?

My sister has a ford escape and i think she blew her stock sub. Im trying to figure out what the stock amp is running RMS and at what Ohms from this ford escape forum at the moment so i really dont know the specs...

What are some small sub options that she might be able to run off a stock sub amplifier. Something that doesnt take a lot of power and runs efficiently. It doesnt have to sound amazing but better than stock would be acceptable

There has to be something out there that will sound as good or a little better than stock and wont blow as easily...Do you think i could bridge the amp into 2ohms maybe to sqeeze a little more out?

I just found out from crutchfield that its an 8" Dual voice coil sub at 1.3 Ohms each

Anything that could match up with that? Sort of an odd impeadence....

Thats what i was thinking but i thought the RMS was at 75

Do you think it would be ok on the Fords AMP, any idea what the power output is like?

Not sure what the power output is on that factory amo but have used the 8w0 in a couple of explorers with good results and a focus!!

What about a punch stage 1? I think those only take 50 RMS...
