Blown or just broken?

I was playing my Type R yesterday when I played a song from Billy Breathes by Phish... Yawn right? Wrong... I had the volume way up and the bass was loud. For some reason the bass was not clean on this track. I noticed it was clipping, so I turned it down, but the damage had been done.

I noticed I lost a lot of bass and it was VERY sloppy.

When I got home, I noticed the cone or dustcap or whatever you call it was about completely separated from the surround. Could I just glue it back on? Or is this thing destined for the trash?

prally broke it, those songs have low lowwww notes...be careful what you play or you'll damage your subs

**** thats alota excursion with a type r, what amp you running on it? and if you can hot glue, or silicone the surround back to the cone and it works? Then call it a quick fix.

some songs are just so low that theyll bottom your subs out if you play them too loud....its not just your sub...for instance...Bass I Love you...and others like that...

Decided I'm going to replace it...

What should I get for a sealed box with about 1cube of volume?

Sub will need to run at 2ohms.
