Blown or just broken?

I was playing my Type R yesterday when I played a song from Billy Breathes by Phish... Yawn right? Wrong... I had the volume way up and the bass was loud. For some reason the bass was not clean on this track. I noticed it was clipping, so I turned it down, but the damage had been done.

I noticed I lost a lot of bass and it was VERY sloppy.

When I got home, I noticed the cone or dustcap or whatever you call it was about completely separated from the surround. Could I just glue it back on? Or is this thing destined for the trash?

**** thats alota excursion with a type r, what amp you running on it? and if you can hot glue, or silicone the surround back to the cone and it works? Then call it a quick fix.
Kicker ZX700.5

Shouldn't have been too much for it... I did have my bass boost to about half and the gain at about 3/4's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hide.gif.2d479cfd917eedfe201353b91522ceab.gif
