Blown Massive 3000.1 - to buy or not?

I found this amp (with a blown output, the guy said radioshack gave him a $120 estimate to fix it) for $80. Would this be a good deal? I've never had to mess with amp repair before either, so if I do end up getting it, where should I take it to have it properly repaired?

All depends on the final cost... Took 180 for me to fix a DD M3 and thats from some one private...

I also have a slightly related question... Is there anyone in middle TN you guys would recommend for amp repair? My friend has an old brutus BXi 2600 that's blown and needs it repaired. And I'll need somewhere to take this amp if I end up getting it.

That guy is full of ****. Radioshack doesn't repair car amps man.

I'm in Nashville quite a bit so it might be cheaper to just drop it off. Lol

Its not worth it man unless you are fixing it yourself. Just clicked your link to the massive page. I wouldn't spend too much on it. Doesn't look good for the seller seeing as he has already lied to you also

Same design basically which is why I say it isn't worth the money. Fairly certain these are coming out of the same buildhouse although the massives may have better build quality but the output and power supply section between the two amps is essentially the same. Would you buy a blown AP3K?
