Blown L7?

my gains are set about a quarter turn. not really sure what to do.
No thats not the way to set the gains. Go to a shop near you and tell them if they have a DMM that they set there gains with, if not then leave and go buy one yourself. Just buy one, it will save future problems and possibly this problem too.

x2, have a local Kicker dealer make the adjustments if possible

CORRECT! tuned the gains 2day at the local audio shop, so fresh and so clean now. thanks for the help, but larger speaker wire in 2day, quite a project for me to do on a day off(went from 18 to 12 gauge) what kind of effect will this have? have the L7s running at 1ohm now, will this reduce some stress along with the bigger speaker wire?thanks for the help. where can u get a DNN? does that read the volts coming out?

ok, so it's better now? Upping speaker wire will help , just not a ton, but they need a decent speaker gauge to work, 'optimal' //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
