i have a blown pioneer DEH-P6700MP i had it since 2005 . my friends that know more than me about music said if i connect an amp the music would play again. will this really work???

...if it is the HU amp that has blown and not other problems in the HU, and you connect the speakers through another amp...then yes, you would hear sound again.

its just the head unit. i havent gotten an amp to see if it would work yet tho. when they tried it in there car they said it powered on but no music
