Blown Crossover? What could be wrong?

I've been running my RSD's for a couple months now, and just the other day they started to sound crackly at moderate volumes..

i thought maybe the tweeters were damaged, so i swapped in my pair of CDT's and they sound the same...could the crossovers be damaged? both the left and right tweeters sound bad..

i was listening to the mids and they sound fine so i doubt it would be my amp.

Probably a damaged cable at the connector. Check the leads going into the amp.

my crossovers are under my seat, so there would be no water damage..i dont have a different crossover to try them with..so its possible that its the crossover then?

ok i got it, im a idiot, my i had the EQ on my ipod set to dance once i turned it off everything sounded fine.
