Blown amp...

I was upgrading from a Kicker300.1 to a Kicker1000.1 amp and i had it all hooked up properly but when i turned on my truck the amp had the red light on so i went to check the wires and without thinking about my truck being on or anything i tugged at the ground wire (which was probably the problem in the first place) and it came out and my amp shot out a spark and made a loud pop and blew the fuse next to my battery.

What is the diagnosis for this amp?

if its fried what exactly "fried"

please help!
