First of all I have a Cadence ZRS-9 2000W monoblock amp.
So here's the story...
I hooked it up in the back of my trunk just sitting on the floor next to the sub to make sure it worked, it did and I drove around with it just loosely sitting on the floor for a good long while, maybe a month or so. I got tired of worrying about it sliding around so I decided to make a rack for it since there is no floorspace big enough for me to just screw it down to the floor of the trunk. Anyway, I made the box, mounted the amp, screwed it in, hooked up the amp and it worked. When I hooked the ground wire to the body of the car there were some minor sparks.
I tested it and it worked, it played...
Ok so now I just have to put the decklid and backseat back in, which I do. Now the amp isn't getting any power. I looked at the ground wire and it's pretty securley fastened down, which should cause it to not get power anyway should it?
I checked my in line fuse mounted in the engine compartment on the battery and it's not blown.
Are there fuses inside the amp I should check?
What could possibly cause it to not get power now?
