blowing fuses

I just bought a kicker zx400.1 amp along with a 10" alpine type e sub. Im using the factory radio so im using a speaker level converter. My issue is that my amp keeps blowing fuses, i try to put one in and immidiately blows. I have my lower wire ran from battery to amp, ground is connected to a metal bolt behind carpet in trunk and my remote wire is connected to a fuse for the power windows. Ive checked my connections and am out of ideas, could it be the remote wire is causing this being hooked up to a fuse?

Check your 12v+ wire you ran for the amp for any metal the shielding on the wire may be touching (doesn't take much for metal to cut through the rubber, rubber grommet/tape everything if in doubt). If your remote wire was grounded it would blow the power window fuse before the amp fuse. Wait, what fuse is blowing, the amp fuse or the power window fuse?

I am leaning towards grounded power wire and not bad amp.
