blowin fuses

i have 2 memphis m class 12's and a phoenix gold x600.1 amp with 4 gauge power and ground. i am using 80 amp fuses and they keep blowing. any suggestions?

Short somewhere in the power wire?

i bought the power wire 2 weeks ago me and my friend checked it for breaks and didnt find any... anyway the amp was tested at 80 amps at 4 ohms, and i have it hooked up to and 80 amp fuse at 1 ohm could that be a problem?

eh you'd be okay trying a slightly bigger fuse on there, although i doubt thats it. try a 100 amp

ur using it at 1 ohm, so maybe check the raiting its suppose to have at 1 ohm, chances are its drawing more current than 80 amps, and thats why its blowing. like suggested ealier try a 100 amp.
