i redlined a bored 305 with a rv cam at 7k and the alternator belt flew off.

thats it. Drove to vato zone to get another on straight battery

V Belt eh? Yea those bishes are weak they can't take any power

the two best engines I've had are..

1) my 460 in my truck (79 ford) revved that thing to 6500 for almost ten years. had it out wheelin and ran it low on oil and it seized solid. (was drinking and forgot to check it. at one point I was like oh I better check the oil..... wait I'm out of beer.)

2) my 305 in my (84) grand prix.. took a beating from a 17 yr old kid (ma-wa) lasted for years and got flogged on the daily. ended up breaking the cam in half on that one.

The truck has had a 351m another 351m a 400m a 429 (very powerful but didnt last, guy who built it *****) and my 460 in it now. I have three 460's in dissarray. hopefully I can build one out of the three without spending too much.

The car has had a v6(231) a 265, a 283, the 305 and two 350's.

Lol I guess I was pretty hard on stuff when I was younger.
