How do they do on gas ?

I bought some mirror covers, they dont fit. The package says they will fit all 1995 to current blazers, s10's, sonomas, and jimmys. The following pics are what they look like sitting on top of my mirrors:

In the link below, look at the second section of pics, left hand side, second row. Thats the set they sent me, on a 2005 s10.

So WTF is going on?

Anyone know what the mirrors on a blazer are interchangeable with?

I have a '95 4-door Blazer and it isnt too great on gas.. I average about 17 in the city.. Around 21 on highway.. Mine has the 4.3L V6 Vortec and once u get past 75+mph it eats up the gas quick!

Speaking of the mirrors.. Mine literally look like they are about to fall out going down the highway.. My system has loosened them up A LOT the past 9 months... Anyone know how to tighten those suckers down?

Alright thanks..

I'm in the market for 1 but what's holding me back are the gas prices //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Take the door panel off, youll see some rubber/foam things on the inside part of the door. Pop them out, and tighten the bolts in there.

Mine were loose too, I tightened the bolts, didnt do anything......On mine, they were loose on the outside- where the triangle shaped piece mounts to the door- shoot a little silicone/goop/super glue in there, and now mine dont move at all.

I get about 13mpg in the city, sucks.

Need to work on fuel economy.

Ive been told on another forum that they changed mirrors in 1999- anyone with a 1999 or newer around here?

Thats what is shown for an OEM mirror for 99 and up.....so Im screwed.

Anyone know of a site where you can cross reference parts, to see what is interchangeable?

I wouldnt add those. I would minus them asap. Matter of fact get your money back and get something else. Those just look hideous even if the did fit.

Thanks for your opinion, but I like them, so....gonna use them.
