ok rob dyrek. your trucking is not blacked out it is multishaded semi blacked out. like said tint the windows, and if you dont want rims paint your rims. but did you spray clear coat over the gloss black paint on whatever you painted? it looks like not. and did you buff out your headlights and tails after the tint? that is what i think was ment by the "do it right" comment.

thanks for the input... perhaps when i get it finished up i will take your comments into account... by the way who is rob dyrek? if you are referring to rob from rob and big they drive a tahoe, not a trailblazer and how is it multishaded? its all black... and no i didnt get around to clear coating with gloss... i didnt have time. i did this in one weekend so my next goal is to clean them and spray clear over them. i also need to re-do the head lights because they are unfortunately fading and flaking. how would i buff my head and tails? they were spray painted... not tinted... enlighten me?

you buy the night shade spray tint. you need to get a red or green scotch brite and scuff the surface of your lights up so you dont have the flaking then spray them. here is a decent how to. http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=204207. and get the clear on over the paint. you might need to redo all that because it sounds like you didnt scuff the surfaces up.

i scuffed everything except for the head and tails... i need to wash the bumpers before i spray them over with clear... i'm just waiting for my wallet to catch up... which at this rate will be never granted my 300$ speeding ticket.

you gotta go over the paint with 1500-2000 before you spray the clear, gotta give it something to bit too.

i used adhesion promoter as well so that is what the paint is sticking to on top of the scuffing. i need to find myself some of 2000, i want it as smooth as possible.
