black sitcoms, did u/do u watch?

I was thinking to myself "do white people watch black sitcoms?" No matter their popularity, I dunno if they would even be allowed in some homes if the parents are unaccepting. The cosby show, family matters, fresh prince of bel air etc were all pretty big at least to my community. Even cartoons these days like little bill and the boondocks. For the youngins in here everybody hates chris. Did u watch? If u didn't why not

Cosby Show was the best. Some of the newer shows tend to perpetuate stereotypes and negative views people have of black people imo.

I watched most of them when nothing else was on... I never thought of them as "black sitcoms" but rather just sitcoms. Martin is the only one I can think of that was more funny than cheesy. Race really never has occurred to me when choosing what to watch etc.

Race dont matter to me.....some of my favorite sitcoms were strictly black....Fresh Price, Cosby, Martin.....the Jeffersons, if you could call that a sitcom, haha!

Boondocks is very controversial but so are numerous other "Adult Swim" shows.... for example last night on "Squidbillies" they were having a *Kill Whitey* convention and made a lot of comments that certain people would not want to hear.

I figure one day one of those shows will get Cartoon Network in some deep deep ____.

I loved Sanford & Son myself. My dad and I ran a pawn shop and guess what our nicknames were.... If it's funny to me I'm gonna watch it no matter what/who is on it... my .02
