Black or Chrome Rims for a Grand Cherokee

Hey, I have a white 2005 (New Body) Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I plan on gettin some new rims, i was thinking 20's, a la the srt 8.

Now I was leaning towards black (w/ chrome lip), but i recently saw chrome and liked that as well.

I think the black would contrast the white truck and the black accents a lot better.

What would you get? What would you think would look the best.

Chrome definately unless you can find one that is a nice mix between the two. A black with chrome lip, not so much.

use photoshop and play with what looks best.

IMO, dark grey with chrome lip (charcoal or anthracite) or the black with chrome would be nice too.

look into the HotWheels series rims. they have some nice looking truck rims. simulated bealocks or imitation 3-piece FTW

I say go with the chrome wheels. Black wheels are nice and stuff, but they seem to be more of a fad. They just kinda popped out as the new big thing, but a good set of chrome wheels won't go out of style.

i'd stick with the chrome. I've seen more than a few cars with that style and it doesn't look as good as chrome.

Black rims with the chrome lip look best on a black vehicle. With it being white I would stick with chrome.

Superbuytires.com is the SH!T man.. I just ordered some black Incubus Paranormal 20's for my WHite Monte.. should look sweet.. I personally have ordered 2 sets of rims thru them.. and have intent to order at least 2 more for friends.. Their selection is top notch.. and If you know the right people they can be super affordable...

If I were you I would go 22's.. I have always liked The black/chrome (lip and accent) look.. but there are SOO many affordable styles.. Just try to narrow it down.. and we'll let u know whats up

I'd say black, with no chrome lip though. Yeah, it may be a 'fad' but chrome is a 'fad' too, and it doesn't look as good.

Jeeps aren't meant to have anything bigger than 17" rims...you buy a Jeep to lift it and wheel it, not put rims on it.

Though, if you must, I personally think the black rims on white cars looks amazing..chrome with white just doesn't work.

Well, why would they ever put 20's on their srt 8 if jeeps weren't meant for rims 17+? The grand Cherokee is quite a hot car, why not put nicer rims on it? Also, i dont plan on off-roading

Eh I dont really wanna go with 22's though. I like how 20's look on the srt 8 and dont want u use that low profile of wheels. Easier to break too....
