bisquick sausage?

Anyone ever heard of the Bisquick all purpose baking mix? Upon the back there is a recipie for Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie... The problem is that i don't have 1 lb of ground beef to put into it, and im too lazy to go to the grocery store tonight, so i was wondering if it would be ok to just put a lb of sausage instead of beef in it?
