Looks decent. Those are some great subs for the money. Circuit City had the 12s on a buy one get one free thing for about $90. I did a ton of installs with them and always liked them.

The smell of cut birch does smell terrible but I would also rather have that than the MDF buggers and dust.

i dont mind mdf sawdust.. i also cut my holes with a jig.. perfect cut first time everytime but then again i've built over 20+ boxes

They were, but id ecided not to use any subs in it. Basically if i get good enough comps, they wil have all the bass/mids i need. Trying to keep it smooth and lowkey. but i want it to sound great!

Got bored just having stuff lay around, and decided to throw it in the car. I just got back from a 2hour spin, and they are great. no stink, n blown subs, and geez, do they waaang for 10's. I will have better vids tomorrow. my cam died in the video. When the vid stops, thats when it died, lol.

if you end up staining it, all the knots and imperfections in the wood make it look better imo.

If i had wood grain inmy car, i would so do that. I've always wanted to, but i think it would be gay w/o woodgrain to match it. I have a friend that has an 02 deville. I havent got any yet, but I am looking at the RE XXX's. Alos, not sure on the amp. the kicker 800.2 is going to run my comps in the honda when i get the real beat in it.
