Birch or MDF?

Im getting ready to make a box tomorrow for two xfl 1222s. What board should I use?

Birch if you can afford it. If not, look in home depot and see if your local store carries Aruacoply 23/32". IIRC It's 7ply pine. Built a few boxes with it so far, it's about half the weight of MDF, easy to work with and the boxes come out sounding great. Pretty strong too.
