Bing: If Elected Mayor, Will Work For Free

DETROIT, Mich. -- A Detroit mayoral candidate is making a promise and issuing a challenge.
Businessman Dave Bing said, if elected, he will work for free and use the $176,000 mayoral salary to hire more police officers.

Bing also challenged the other candidates to fill out an ethics disclosure form that would make all their financial interests public.

its another political move that will give him a few more votes. I personally think its a good move on his part.

Ethics are wonderful for someone in office.

I would like to see if anyone else agrees with him, on the disclosure.

And to the guy commenting about two extra cops.

That's a HEFTY salary for just two officers. I'm thinking specialized, or more officers for that kind of change.
