Heres the story for Bimma85 and all of you other guys about that box for the 13.5 W7.

I bought it from a guy in NY about two weeks ago. He said that the box was professionaly built blah blah. I got the sub in (the sub is in perfect conditon for the most part) but the box was pretty messed up. Either it was f*cked up in shipping or from being built by a meth head. Anyway... it was built to JL specs for a ported enclosure. I did not want to throw away the box because there was some usuable wood there. I took apart the box and cut all the wood to the length so it would be JL's specs for a sealed box. The result from this was some random holes throughout the box. I sealed all of the holes up with wood filler. I also put wood filler around all of the seams. The box is now air tight and sounds great. I will be carpeting it soon and selling it to a friend locally. Now here is the pic again

I have built around ten myself, I have helped about 3 other people build their boxes (physically not like giving advice over aim or anything)

I never re-use MDF... too much of a hassle. Especially when an entire 4'x8' sheet is only $20.
