well if we dont buy on sundays, thats a day where the companies will take a loss. Its a day to day basis, so even if you fill up on monday, sunday the got screwed. Im getting a hybrid, fuk this shiot

Buy a hybrid if:
You wish to reduce global oil consumption

You want a vehicle that's more environmentally friendly

Don't buy a hybrid if:

You think it will save you money, because it won't

You want performance

I thought you did this calculation that showed buying a hybrid wouldnt save you money unless it was over a 20 year span or somehting?

my perspective of Bill has comepletely changed. but thats comparing a 13K car to a 19K car, if you were already in the market for a 19K car youd be saving more by buying the hybrid, that entire calculation is pointless.

The number one reason why people buy Hybrids is because they think they'll save money ...
But, as I've shown, you don't save money buying a hybrid ...

No, youve shown that you dont save money if you spring for a car that is 6,000 more than another. If you were already in the market for a $19,000 buying a hyrbid WOULD save you money.

The new civic hybrid has 246 horse power and the non hybrid has 140, hence u are spending more on gas on the one hybrid then the other non hybrid
