Bigrick31's Sick New Project

Thats some sweet work Rick.Mine is going under the knife for the last time (yeah right) after Slam Fest. Still deciding if I want to body drop it.

Anyway, your roommate.....his truck named Frank? I think it might be after waht saywhay? said. I have seen it on StreetSource. Nice.

I am loving the way you did your bed. I don't like seeing holes over the axel, so hopefully you have it raised up enough you don't have to cut that in.

yup his trucks name is frank. hes on streetsource and also whynotfab, yea i love the stock look of the bed i think its enough for when i back half it later. you should totally body drop your blazer that would be sick. if you do you planning on traditional or stock floor?

Nah, he doesnt live there anymore. Its an older B2200 with a shot ignition. Only has 120K miles on it though
you should pick it up! how close are you to moreno valley (Sp?) thats where are socal chapter is located and i think they have a huge shop/ barn tunred shop where all the guys from the club work on their trucks. you should check it out!

rick, i was talking about the blue truck loud3 posted.
was that in this thread? if so i must have missed it or you mean the blue clean @ss 720 on street source looks pretty much stock but has phantom grill and bagged and body droped

hmm started cutting out my top controll arms so they wouldnt hit the bag mounts anymore and it seems like im almost maxed out as far as lift goes. although i dont have a compressor that can put about 180psi into my bags so i wont know for sure untill i get my valves hooked up. but my truck is only 8" from the bottom of the rocker to the ground.

If I do it, it will be traditional. I don't have the time for a stock floor. Been 2 years since I drove it already, don't need to add more time to it.

And I am almost talking myself out of a BD as it is. Don't want to mess with the possibilities of steering linkage getting in the way and the brake booster.

I have 3 months till we even start anything, so anything could happen.

Back to your truck now.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

brake booster and steering arnt to bad. thats all been done to my truck. an easy way to deal with the steering is to get some yoks from a chevy van and just set them up so its clear of everything. i should be working on my truck today but im gunna be meeting up with a girl for the 4th of july. D@mn women making me not work on my truck!

why is ur truck 8 inches from rocker to ground?
thats about all the lift i get at full heighth. well maybe i can get more when i hook up my valves and trim my controll arms more. but right now my house compressor only fills my bags with about 125psi

elderado, as of now i have a 72 f100, but im lookin to sell it and buy a VW bug. pre 68 i believe. not a super, i need a standard to do what I want. do a dropped axle up front, stretch the pan a bit, chop the top, make a coupster out of it.
