those are brackets we made to hold my 2 thomas 337 air compressors welded in to my stock crossmember

what my truck could look like when were done. (on a side note those composite beds are hella light) this one was lighter than my mini nissan bed

Might I suggest plating the frame before and after the notch at least a foot each way?

 

Other than that, it is coming along.

the frame is boxed stock right before the notch and we did box after on one side. the other side is where the bracket for my pan hard bar goes so we cant really box that in.

thats just the pic. acatually the bottomof the notch is a bit wide so its flush on one side and the other theres a little extra metal making it look like it bows . yes hobart makes welders and yes those sports drinks are good. we killed so many of those all day we all went out drinking the night before so everyone was a little hung over. and trust me i did my fair share of work.

ahh lol. yea we get that a lot. hey why are you doing that to your truck? well why the fu(K not!!!?!?!?!?! lol didnt work on it today gotta get some drill bits and other stuff should be working on it every day now untill sunday. ill make sure to take lots of pics for ya snookums!
