Hah, you'd never guess that the spindles and rotors weighed that much by lookin at the pictures would you? I know when i pulled them off my truck I couldnt believe the weight! Man I think those cups are gunna hold you back as far as droppin the front on the ground, I know when doin my era trucks we cut them as short as possible.

so just finished baggin it today and guess what!!!! it wont work! my drop spindals say for 17" and larger wheels. well i have stock chevy 17s and i already cut off as much of the bolt for my lower ball joint as i can and my truck wont move. so im stuck. gotta get different wheels. cant get any 22s or 24s because i dont have the money for them and shortening my rear end. so i gotta find something wheel and tire package for about $500

they dont carry anything that will fit plus they are a pretty expensive shop only went there because that set of 22s was on sale. im going to a different tire center saturday to see if i can get some 18"+ wheels for cheap otherwise i can pick up new 07 18" escalade wheels for about $650

That sucks Rick.

Sad thing is we were just talking about those spindles the other night at the shop. He got the 17" + spindles and was gonna run the stock wheels for awhile, but couldn't roll. BellTech told him to go buy bigger wheels or they would send a diagram on what to trim to MAYBE make them work.

 

But something good came out of it................. he bought the 18's I had in the back of my shop.

yea im going to have to call mcgauhys (i think thats how you spell it) anyways i trimmed the hell out of my bolt for my lower ball joint. i need some kind of compensation new ball joints would be nice.

oh the 22s are gone. the shop took them back when i told them they wont fit and we had no legally binding contract. so i got to roll 22s for a week then gave them back for a full refund of my money. i will be rolling the 18s untill i shorten my rear end and make room for some larger wheels either 22s or 24s havnt decided yet.
