i had one of my Z1a's running on a stock 95amp alt in my rangerbut i also had 1 kinetik 1800 under the hood and 2 2000's in the cab

Bigger battery bank = more amperes that can be accessed.

You can have a 70 amp alternator and 10 batteries and be able to power 5K RMS + amps for a while.

thats what i was getting at. it doesnt sound like he is wanting to use a bunch of batts though

X2...a capacitor does NOT create energy...it uses energy from the battery's and alt

to stay charged..if you have electrical problems adding a cap will make it worse

my system draws well over 500amps and I have no cap installed

caps arent 100% useless but you wouldnt get any help from it
