Bigger AMP suggestions for SA12's with SPL coils (currently 1500D)

I have a SAZ-1500D powering two D4 SA-12s with SPL coils. The SPL coil is well underrated at 1K RMS, I was thinking of waiting for the 2012 version of the 3500D (1ohm). Would that be overkill or spot on? If you have any suggestions letem fly

the saz 3500 would prolly perfect ,as well as the dc 3.5,an aq 3500,dd m3a,or atomic 3k

You have any ideas on SPL output differences? I'm sure it would be noticeable

actually all the amps i listed would prolly be really close to each other, as far as rms power ratings.if anything i think the m3a ,would be the less powered one then the aq,atomic ,then dc and saz ,the best. but the dc would be very close to the sundown.it's really going to depend on your system ,electrical,box, and rise.
