Bigbangtheory........?

I'm down...
let's do this shit then. I was up all night last night reading and researching the parallel universe theory, and i strongly believe that they do exist. It was when they shined the photon light on the glass apple when i realized that this shit has to be real. It is mind boggling to think that the past and future exist in our own living rooms, we just can't see it.

I just skimmed through a couple articles to get the gist of the theory, but I completely agree about having multiple universes, and many worlds. The universe is infinite, how could there not be a world like our own, with humans, and animals etc. The world/universe is a mind boggling place.

did you just begin to research it?

Oh gosh not again. I will get to this in a bit.
if multiple universes do exist, then we are only being deceived by reality and we are eternal. We are also part of the universe and it is a part of us, therefore we are our own god. It is one big chain that never ends. Think about it, in 1 of the infinite universes, 911 didn't happen. And The towers are still standing, possibly right in front of our eyes. I mean, if you think about it, reality is it's own thing and the human brain just does the best it can to perceive what it can to it's best knowledge.

sierra, you need to watch this.

Crazy stuff.
what's crazy about it is that death seems so real, but maybe when you die you don't actually die. It would be so cool to live eternally and move to another universe or something when you die. I still question this and don't know if what i am saying makes sense, but they explained it on the history channel. So i wonder, can you actually die and still be alive somehwere else afterwards, or do you die regardless?

Well, I'm not sure how probable all this stuff is about having multi universes where our world as we know it exists in the same form in different universes. I believe there is life form just like ours all across the universe, but having the same exact world but with different possible outcomes from events doesn't seem possible to me. I understand that a proton can be in several different places at one time, and we are made of protons, but I think that is where the similarities end. However, to answer your question about death, basing off their theories, I assume you would die in this world, but continue to live in another.

no, it is a photon, an elementary particle, the quantum of the electromagnetic field and the basic unit of light and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation

and yes, i have some faith in dying and living in another world. But i don't understand it, does anyone else?

I really think that our perception of reality is deceived. It has got to be twisted somehow given all the science we have grown to believe that isn't proven true. Now, you may say how is that? Well, sciences like meteorology and geology may all be relatively easy to understand since they both happen right here in front of our eyes, therefore we can take a look in the past and understand how it all works on a large scale. And we can also test our own theories right here on earth, to figure out whether or not they make any sense.

It's entirely reasonable to act based on the predictions that science makes. (Even on the ones not proven true) It is just a collection of facts organized into theories that allow us to predict observations. As far as I can see, that's as far as it goes. Trying to turn that into some kind of "window into a deceived reality" is the cause of the problems, not the solution.

I think that astronomy, especially many light years away is just to far out for anyone to comprehend, period. No matter what we do to try to understand most of astronomy, it will forever be impossible to wrap our heads around it, even with all of einsteins theories and all that are so far proven to be correct. I think that at a certain point of trying to look back, or look forward in history or the future, we just have to say "ok, that is enough" and call it quits.
That's you're head talking. Humankind has advanced so much that we are as gods to people of a thousand years ago. Still, if you really want to know if we'll ever understand the origin of the universe, you might consider performing an experiment of observing humankind to see if they have what it takes. And of course, since we are humankind, all it takes to set the experiment in motion is to try.

Give up when you're dead.

As big as the universe is, especially if it is eternal makes it more than likely that earth has come from a supernatural event in the universe (no matter how long it has been here), that very slowly evolved into a place with energy and matter and all that we need every day to survive. I can bet that when earth was first created, it was just a planet for billions of years made of nothing but solid mass. It wasn't until 1 second ago relative to earths time that it somehow was given energy by something else supernatural that happened to give life to us. Chances are, there really isn't a man governing us, but something just happened to come together over an eternal time that gave life to us today.
"There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened."
